Instance Guidelines
What gets a self-hosted instance listing rejected or delisted.
These guidelines cover what’s specific to self-hosted instance listings. They apply on top of the general Community Guidelines. Read this before you list your instance.
An instance listing points people at infrastructure you control, not at a server invite, so it’s held to a different bar than a server or bot listing - domain ownership and uptime matter as much as content.
Rejection and delisting
Any of these keeps a listing off FluxerList or gets a live one delisted. These are in addition to the general conduct rules that apply to every listing type.
- Domain ownership never verified, or the token left to expire without a retry.
- Core, API, or Gateway health checks failing, including after going live.
- False or misleading information on the form.
- Impersonating another instance, community, brand, or the Fluxer or FluxerList team.
- Content or conduct that would get a server removed under the Server Guidelines.
- The domain changing hands or no longer resolving to a real Fluxer instance.
The Domain Verified badge confirms domain ownership only. It is not an endorsement of the instance’s content, moderation, or reliability by Fluxer or FluxerList.
