Format your description
Every Markdown feature FluxerList supports in long descriptions, with copy-paste examples.
Markdown works in the Long Description field when you add or edit a server, bot, or theme. The short description is plain text only.
The editor has an emoji picker with search, categories, and skin tones. Pick an emoji and it drops in where your cursor is.
Use headings to break your description into sections, tables to document commands, and highlights sparingly for the one thing you want people to notice.
Headings
Start from # or ## for top-level sections and don’t skip levels.
Bold, italic, and strikethrough
Lists and task lists
Task lists work well for showing bot features or setup steps as a checklist.
Tables
The separator row is required, and column widths don’t need to line up.
Control alignment with colons in the separator row.
Blockquotes
Useful for notices, tips, or quoting your bot’s replies.
Code blocks
Wrap code in triple backticks.
Single backticks render as plain text on FluxerList. Only triple backticks create a styled code block.
Links
All links open in a new tab. Only include relevant links, because spam or unrelated links can get a listing rejected.
Highlight
Wrap text in double equals signs. This is FluxerList’s own extended syntax.
Subscript and superscript
Strikethrough uses double tildes. Single tildes are reserved for subscript.
Emoji
Type a shortcode and it renders as the emoji.
Footnotes
Footnotes render as superscript numbers with a reference section at the bottom.
Heading IDs
Add a custom ID to link straight to a section. The ID must be lowercase, with hyphens for spaces.
Horizontal rules and paragraphs
Leave a blank line between paragraphs. A single line break inside a paragraph is treated as a space.
