Notifications
Notifications post FluxerList events into a channel of your choice, so your team sees whatβs happening without opening the website. Some come from the bot itself, and some come from fluxerlist.com.
Setting this up needs Manage Server or Administrator. Anyone can view the current status.
What you can be told about
By default you get every kind.
Set it up
Pick a channel
!nt is short for !notifications. The bot also creates a FluxerList webhook in that channel, which makes posts branded and lets the website deliver events directly.
To stop notifications, run !nt off.
Check the status
Run !nt with nothing after it. It shows the current channel, how posts are delivered, and which kinds are on (β
) or off (β).
Your personal settings
Separate from server notifications, the bot can DM you directly. You control those DMs with !usersettings (aliases !mysettings, !preferences, !prefs). Anyone can change their own, and the settings are stored on your linked FluxerList account, so they follow you across every server. You need a linked account: sign in at fluxerlist.com first.
With no arguments it shows the panel. Give a name or number plus on or off to change one. Give just a name to see its current value. Everything defaults to on.
Messages from FluxerList staff about your own server are always delivered, whatever these are set to.
If posts look plain or donβt arrive
Posts come from the bot, not a webhook
The bot needs Manage Webhooks in that channel to create the FluxerList webhook. Grant it and run !nt repair for branded posts. Without it, the bot still posts directly.
The test post fails
The bot needs View Channel and Send Messages in the channel you chose. Grant them, or pick a different channel. If the webhook was deleted, !nt repair recreates it.
I'm not getting vote or listing alerts
Those come from fluxerlist.com, not the bot, so your server must be listed and a channel must be set with !nt.
