Bumps and votes

The two everyday ways to climb the listings, and how bump streaks work.

Bumping

Bumping refreshes your server’s position in the listings and signals that the community is active. You can bump each server once every 12 hours, and each bump from the website earns you 10 FL Tokens.

Before accepting a bump from the website, FluxerList validates your invite, so a dead invite can’t be bumped into view.

Add the FluxerList bot to your server and anyone in it can bump with !bump, and vote with !vote. Bumping from the bot also pays 10 FL Tokens. Turn on bump reminders to hear when the cooldown is up.

Bump streaks

Bump at least once per calendar day to build a streak. A server on a streak can show a flame badge on its card, on its detail page header, and in its Server Stats panel.

Streaks are based on bumping once per calendar day, not on a rolling cooldown window, so two bumps that land slightly further apart than usual won’t reset your streak.

The flame badge is a listing upgrade you unlock once per server. You can turn it on or off from your dashboard.

Bump boost and reset

Two shop items work with bumping. Bump Boost cuts your bump cooldown from 12 hours to 6 for 7 days, and Bump Reset clears the cooldown on one server instantly so you can bump again straight away. Prices are on the shop page.

Voting

Open any server, bot, or theme and select Vote. You must be signed in, and you can vote once per listing. Select Vote again to remove your vote.

ActionFL Tokens
You vote for a listing+1
Your listing receives a vote+2 for the owner

Removing a vote reverses the tokens it earned, and the reversal shows in your token history.

Vote manipulation through bots, scripts, or coordinated fake accounts gets a listing delisted.

Votes drive the Popular sort and the leaderboard. You can see who voted for your own listings through the voters API.

Ratings and comments

Server, bot, and theme cards show their average rating and rating count. Every rating carries a small note that ratings are community-submitted and can be skewed by review bombing, bots, or a single bad-faith actor.

Comments on server pages show the commenter’s top staff badge next to their name. You can review and delete everything you’ve posted from Dashboard → Activity → Comments.

Tips

  • Bump on a fixed schedule. A daily bump is enough to hold a streak.
  • Link your vote page from your server’s welcome channel and pinned messages.
  • Use the voters API to thank voters with an in-server perk.
