Weekly Spotlight auction
A new Spotlight slot sits at the top of page 1 of the server list, above all the results, and goes to a different server every week. Owners of approved, non-NSFW servers bid FL Tokens for next week’s slot, and the highest bid wins the whole week (Monday 00:00 UTC to the following Monday).
- The opening bid is 1,000 FL Tokens. Each raise must be at least 5% higher, and never less than 50 tokens. Bids are capped at 1,000,000.
- Only the top bid holds tokens. If you’re outbid, your tokens are refunded instantly.
- If the winning server stops being eligible during its week, the owner gets a pro-rata refund of the unused part of the week and the slot shows empty.
- The server holding this week’s Spotlight can’t bid for next week’s slot, so there are no back-to-back wins.
Profile is now in the navbar avatar
The “Profile” item has been removed from the account menu. Click your avatar and name in the navbar to open your profile instead.
A new listing editor
The Edit Listing page is now split into Listing, Look, Content, and Settings tabs, with a live Card or Page preview, an unsaved-changes marker, and saving that keeps you on the page. You can also drag your banner to choose which part shows, or switch to Fit to show the whole image over a blurred copy of itself, and the description editor has an emoji picker.
Page Layout for servers
A new per-server shop unlock lets you arrange your detail page: sidebar position, banner placement, page width, where the Join button sits, header height, and icon shape. Drag sections into a new order, hide the ones you don’t want, embed a YouTube video, or turn About, Video, Rules, and Staff into tabs. Rules and a Staff & Developers section are available to everyone.
Bump status and history in the API
You can now read your server’s bump status and history with GET /servers/{id}/bumps. It returns whether the server can be bumped now, when the cooldown ends, the current streak, and a paginated list of every bump with its source. The key must belong to the server’s owner.
History starts from this update, so bumps made earlier only show up in lastBumpedAt.
New endpoints
Four new groups of endpoints join the existing voter lists:
- Look up a listing.
GET /bots/{id}andGET /servers/{id}return the same public fields shown on a listing page - name, avatar, invite, counts, tags, and more - for any approved bot or server. - Check a vote.
GET /bots/{id}/checkandGET /servers/{id}/checkreturn whether a specific Fluxer user currently has an active vote, without paging through the full voter list. - Stat badges. Embeddable SVG widgets for a bot’s server/vote count or a server’s member/vote count. Public and unauthenticated, so they work straight in a README
<img>tag. - Your account.
/users/@me,/@me/bots, and/@me/serverslet a key identify itself and list what it owns or manages, instead of hardcoding IDs.
Rate limits reworked
The default rate limit dropped from 30 to 20 requests/minute, and every key now also has a 3,000/month cap shared across all its endpoints, so one key can’t exhaust the platform’s overall quota. Your Dashboard’s Developer tab shows live usage per bucket, with a progress bar and a countdown to when each one resets.
Also fixed and polished
- Fixed instance review pages not showing an uploaded icon or banner, always falling back to a plain letter avatar even when the operator had uploaded images.
- The instance review page now shows which FluxerList account actually submitted the listing, instead of only the free-text Operator Contact field.
- FLAT moved out of the navbar and into the footer’s Platform links, and a new Docs link was added to the navbar.
- Reworked the footer: Legal links moved into the bottom bar, and Platform/Community were rebalanced into two columns instead of one heavy one.
- Fixed an edge case where an account with a very large Fluxer ID could display incorrectly in a few places.
- Fixed a crash on the Dashboard (“Rendered fewer hooks than expected”) that could happen when your session expired while it was still open.
FluxerList Docs are live
Guides, references, and release notes now live in one place at docs.fluxerlist.com. There are step-by-step guides for listing a server, bot, or self-hosted instance, plus pages on bumps, votes, Spotlight, the FLAT activity score, and how FL Tokens work.
The FluxerList bot has its own section too, with a full command reference, a setup guide, and pages on notifications, earning tokens, and the casino.
Self-hosted instance listings
You can now list a self-hosted Fluxer instance alongside servers, bots, and themes. Submit your domain, display name, description, icon, banner, tags, primary language, and website, support, and source links from Add Instance. Everything is editable later from your dashboard’s Edit Listing page.
Every submission runs an automated health check against your instance’s /.well-known/fluxer descriptor. The results appear on submission, in your dashboard, and in the review queue, including TLS status, each probe’s pass or fail, and every field the descriptor returns. Connection and TLS failures show a short reason like “SSL failed” or “Domain not found” instead of raw OpenSSL text.
Reporting and guidelines for instances
Anyone can report a misleading listing, an unreachable instance, or an unresponsive operator from an instance’s page. Reports use the same review queue as servers, bots, and themes, which now has an Instances filter.
Two new pages set expectations. The Instance Listing Guidelines cover health checks, domain verification, and what gets a listing rejected or delisted. The Instance Operator Terms cover what you confirm when you submit, your ongoing responsibilities, and what verification does and doesn’t confirm. The Privacy Policy discloses what’s collected on submission: domain, display name, description, tags, and operator contact. The operator contact field accepts a Fluxer username, a social handle, or any other reliable contact method.
Renamed badge
The instance Verified badge is now Domain Verified and uses a distinct green style, so it doesn’t read as an official FluxerList endorsement the way the server Verified badge does.
Faster profiles
The Achievements section on profiles is now collapsed until you expand it, and badge lists longer than 10 collapse behind a “+N more” button. Heavily decorated profiles now load quickly.
A redesigned admin panel
The Admin Panel now matches the Review Dashboard and Partner Manager. It has a dated header, grouped sidebar navigation with pending-count badges, and a Staff Tools section linking to Review, Reports, Partner Manager, Violations, and the Audit Log. Overview has a Needs Attention strip that reads “All clear” when nothing is waiting, and every tab is deep-linkable with ?tab=.
Listing blacklist
Admins can now flag a user so they can no longer add servers, bots, themes, or instances. It’s a lighter alternative to a ban. Browsing, voting, commenting, and managing listings they already own all keep working. Blacklisted users see a clear notice on the Add page, and the API rejects any submission from them.
Fixes and polish
- Instances now appear in the footer’s Platform links.
- Rejecting an instance with no reason typed no longer leaves it stuck in Pending. A reason is required before Confirm Reject works.
- Fixed some bots being shown as requesting Administrator permission when they weren’t. Very large permission values from newer Fluxer permission bits were rounded in a way that could flip the flag on.
- You can delete a pending instance from your dashboard’s Instances tab. Approved instances stay locked so a live listing can’t vanish from Browse unnoticed.
- Removed the “Fresh Listing” weekly quest. It encouraged low-effort listings created to farm rewards.
- Bumping a server from the website now earns 10 FL Tokens instead of 1.
- Removed the 1,000-token wager cap on Spin the Wheel, Plinko, and Blackjack. Your balance is now the only limit. The High Roller achievement now requires a single bet of 25,000 tokens or more, up from 500.
- Partner Managers are hidden from the FLTokens Overview leaderboard and rank calculations, like admins.
- Removed the scrolling red admin banner, and the navbar no longer floats partway down admin pages.
