# Community Server Rules

Welcome to the official FluxerList community server. It's the home of fluxerlist.com, the bot and server directory for Fluxer. These rules keep the server safe, friendly, and useful as we grow. By staying here, you agree to follow them.

> **Info**
>
> **Short version:** Be respectful, keep it safe, keep it on-topic, and open a ticket if you need staff.

These are separate from the [Community Guidelines](/community-guidelines), which cover listings on the FluxerList website.

## The rules

01

### Fluxer's rules come first

Fluxer's [Community Guidelines](https://fluxer.app/guidelines) and [Terms of Service](https://fluxer.app/terms) apply here too. Ours sit on top of them, never in place of them.

02

### Be respectful

Treat everyone with basic respect, even when you disagree.

No harassment, bullying, personal attacks, or targeted insults.

No hate speech, slurs, or discrimination, including "jokes," censored spellings, and coded language.

Don't stir up drama. If someone bothers you, block them and open a ticket.

03

### Keep it safe for work

Nothing NSFW, sexual, gory, or shocking, anywhere.

That covers profile pictures, names, statuses, emojis, and links.

Sexualising minors is an immediate permanent ban and a report to Fluxer.

04

### No scams, malware, or shady links

Keep the server safe from anything that could cost someone their account or money.

No phishing, IP grabbers, token loggers, malicious files, or fake "free Nitro" offers.

No fake giveaways, crypto schemes, or get-rich-quick pitches.

Don't sell, trade, or give away accounts, servers, or paid subscriptions.

No piracy, cracked software, or illegal content.

No bots that steal tokens, compromise accounts, or self-bot.

05

### No impersonation

Be who you are.

Don't pose as FluxerList staff, Fluxer staff, a bot developer, or anyone else.

Don't copy a staff member's name, avatar, or style to mislead people.

Don't claim a partnership, verification, or special status unless it's real.

06

### No unsolicited advertising

Promote in the channels made for it.

Keep self-promotion, invites, and bot links to those channels.

No DM advertising. Sending promos nobody asked for gets you banned.

Want exposure? List your bot or server on [fluxerlist.com](https://fluxerlist.com).

07

### Listing and voting integrity

Fair votes, honest listings.

No vote trading, vote-for-vote deals, alt accounts, or other vote manipulation.

Don't ping or DM staff to rush a review. Reviews go in queue order.

Keep listing info accurate. False or misleading listings are removed.

Disagree with a decision? Open a ticket. Arguing in public won't change it.

08

### Stay on-topic

Use each channel for what it's for.

Check the channel description if you're unsure.

No spam, flooding, walls of text, or excessive emojis and caps.

Don't mass-ping, or ping staff and roles without a real reason.

Keep public channels in English so moderators can keep everyone safe.

09

### Use tickets for support

Anything that needs staff goes through a ticket.

Open one for listing help, reports, appeals, or anything private.

One ticket per issue, with a clear explanation and any links or screenshots.

Staff are volunteers, so please be patient.

Don't DM staff for support unless they ask you to.

10

### Respect privacy

Keep other people's information to yourself.

Don't share personal info (real name, address, photos, socials) without permission. Doxxing threats count.

Don't post private DM screenshots to call someone out. Report it in a ticket.

11

### Staff have the final say

Moderators act to protect the community, not to punish people.

Moderators can act on harmful behaviour even if it isn't listed here, so don't hunt for loopholes.

Follow staff instructions in the moment. If a decision seems unfair, appeal in a ticket, not in chat.

> **Warning**
>
> **Staff will never DM you first** asking for your password, token, 2FA codes, or payment. Anyone who does is a scammer. Report them through a ticket.

## What breaking the rules looks like

A few real-world examples. The number is the rule each one breaks.

02

Calling someone a slur, or the same slur with letters swapped out.

03

A sexual or gory profile picture, username, status, or emoji.

04

Posting "claim your free Nitro" with a link, or sending a "cool bot" that's really a token logger.

05

Copying a moderator's name and avatar, or DMing "I'm staff, I need your token."

06

Dropping your server invite in a general channel, or DMing members your bot link unprompted.

07

Voting on your own listing from alt accounts, or pinging staff hourly for an approval.

08

Posting the same message five times, or pinging a staff role for a question anyone can answer.

09

Putting five problems in one ticket, or DMing a moderator instead of opening one.

10

Posting someone's real name or address, or screenshotting a private DM to shame them.

## How enforcement works

Most issues follow this ladder, but staff can skip steps for serious violations.

**Step 1**Verbal warning

**Step 2**Formal warning (logged)

**Step 3**Timeout

**Step 4**Kick

**Step 5**Permanent ban

> **Warning**
>
> **Instant bans** apply to scams, malware, phishing, doxxing, raiding, hate speech, and any content involving minors. Serious cases may also be reported to Fluxer.

## Appeals

If you were warned, timed out, or kicked, you can appeal by opening a ticket. Be honest and respectful. Ban appeals are reviewed case by case, and an appeal is not a guarantee of being unbanned.

## Thanks for being here

FluxerList exists to help the Fluxer community find great bots and servers. Help us keep this space welcoming, safe, and genuinely useful.

These rules may be updated as the server grows. Continuing to participate means you accept the latest version.
