## Weekly Spotlight auction

A new Spotlight slot sits at the top of page 1 of the server list, above all the results, and goes to a different server every week. Owners of approved, non-NSFW servers bid FL Tokens for next week's slot, and the highest bid wins the whole week (Monday 00:00 UTC to the following Monday).

* The opening bid is 1,000 FL Tokens. Each raise must be at least 5% higher, and never less than 50 tokens. Bids are capped at 1,000,000.
* Only the top bid holds tokens. If you're outbid, your tokens are refunded instantly.
* If the winning server stops being eligible during its week, the owner gets a pro-rata refund of the unused part of the week and the slot shows empty.
* The server holding this week's Spotlight can't bid for next week's slot, so there are no back-to-back wins.

How the auction works

## Profile is now in the navbar avatar

The "Profile" item has been removed from the account menu. Click your avatar and name in the navbar to open your profile instead.

## A new listing editor

The Edit Listing page is now split into **Listing**, **Look**, **Content**, and **Settings** tabs, with a live **Card** or **Page** preview, an unsaved-changes marker, and saving that keeps you on the page. You can also drag your banner to choose which part shows, or switch to **Fit** to show the whole image over a blurred copy of itself, and the description editor has an emoji picker.

Customise your page

## Page Layout for servers

A new per-server shop unlock lets you arrange your detail page: sidebar position, banner placement, page width, where the Join button sits, header height, and icon shape. Drag sections into a new order, hide the ones you don't want, embed a YouTube video, or turn About, Video, Rules, and Staff into tabs. Rules and a Staff & Developers section are available to everyone.

See Page Layout

## Instance listings are open

Any signed-in user can now submit a self-hosted Fluxer instance, with no Instance Tester access needed. Domain verification is still required before a listing goes public.

List an instance

## Bump status and history in the API

You can now read your server's bump status and history with `GET /servers/{id}/bumps`. It returns whether the server can be bumped now, when the cooldown ends, the current streak, and a paginated list of every bump with its source. The key must belong to the server's owner.

History starts from this update, so bumps made earlier only show up in `lastBumpedAt`.

## The API is public

Any FluxerList account can now generate an API key from the Dashboard's **Developer** tab - no request, no ticket, no approval needed.

Get a key

## New endpoints

Four new groups of endpoints join the existing voter lists:

* **Look up a listing.** `GET /bots/{id}` and `GET /servers/{id}` return the same public fields shown on a listing page - name, avatar, invite, counts, tags, and more - for any approved bot or server.
* **Check a vote.** `GET /bots/{id}/check` and `GET /servers/{id}/check` return whether a specific Fluxer user currently has an active vote, without paging through the full voter list.
* **Stat badges.** Embeddable SVG widgets for a bot's server/vote count or a server's member/vote count. Public and unauthenticated, so they work straight in a README `<img>` tag.
* **Your account.** `/users/@me`, `/@me/bots`, and `/@me/servers` let a key identify itself and list what it owns or manages, instead of hardcoding IDs.

Bot developers, not just owners, now have full access to every bot endpoint, and we ironed out a few rough edges in voter list pagination based on early testing.

#### [Find your listings](/find-your-listings)

Look up your account and the bots or servers it owns.

#### [Check a vote](/check-a-vote)

Gate a reward on a live vote check.

#### [Embed a stat badge](/stat-badges)

Drop a live badge into your README.

#### [API reference](/overview)

Every endpoint, parameter, and response.

## Rate limits reworked

The default rate limit dropped from 30 to 20 requests/minute, and every key now also has a 3,000/month cap shared across all its endpoints, so one key can't exhaust the platform's overall quota. Your Dashboard's Developer tab shows live usage per bucket, with a progress bar and a countdown to when each one resets.

See the limits

## Also fixed and polished

* Fixed instance review pages not showing an uploaded icon or banner, always falling back to a plain letter avatar even when the operator had uploaded images.
* The instance review page now shows which FluxerList account actually submitted the listing, instead of only the free-text Operator Contact field.
* FLAT moved out of the navbar and into the footer's Platform links, and a new **Docs** link was added to the navbar.
* Reworked the footer: Legal links moved into the bottom bar, and Platform/Community were rebalanced into two columns instead of one heavy one.
* Fixed an edge case where an account with a very large Fluxer ID could display incorrectly in a few places.
* Fixed a crash on the Dashboard ("Rendered fewer hooks than expected") that could happen when your session expired while it was still open.

## FluxerList Docs are live

Guides, references, and release notes now live in one place at docs.fluxerlist.com. There are step-by-step guides for listing a server, bot, or self-hosted instance, plus pages on bumps, votes, Spotlight, the FLAT activity score, and how FL Tokens work.

The FluxerList bot has its own section too, with a full [command reference](/bot-commands), a setup guide, and pages on notifications, earning tokens, and the casino.

Developers get an [API reference](/overview) and two tutorials: keeping your bot's server count in sync, and rewarding the people who vote for you.

## Self-hosted instance listings

You can now list a self-hosted Fluxer instance alongside servers, bots, and themes. Submit your domain, display name, description, icon, banner, tags, primary language, and website, support, and source links from **Add Instance**. Everything is editable later from your dashboard's Edit Listing page.

Every submission runs an automated health check against your instance's `/.well-known/fluxer` descriptor. The results appear on submission, in your dashboard, and in the review queue, including TLS status, each probe's pass or fail, and every field the descriptor returns. Connection and TLS failures show a short reason like "SSL failed" or "Domain not found" instead of raw OpenSSL text.

Domain ownership verification is required. An instance can't be approved or shown publicly until its owner proves control of the domain with a DNS TXT record. Once live, an instance gets its own public detail page, and every listed instance is re-checked weekly. A failing instance is pulled from Browse Instances until it passes again, and its owner is notified.

Instance submissions are gated for now. Admins can turn submissions off platform-wide, or restrict them to users granted **Instance Tester** access.

Read the docs

## Reporting and guidelines for instances

Anyone can report a misleading listing, an unreachable instance, or an unresponsive operator from an instance's page. Reports use the same review queue as servers, bots, and themes, which now has an Instances filter.

Two new pages set expectations. The **Instance Listing Guidelines** cover health checks, domain verification, and what gets a listing rejected or delisted. The **Instance Operator Terms** cover what you confirm when you submit, your ongoing responsibilities, and what verification does and doesn't confirm. The Privacy Policy discloses what's collected on submission: domain, display name, description, tags, and operator contact. The operator contact field accepts a Fluxer username, a social handle, or any other reliable contact method.

Read the docs

## Renamed badge

The instance **Verified** badge is now **Domain Verified** and uses a distinct green style, so it doesn't read as an official FluxerList endorsement the way the server Verified badge does.

## Custom backgrounds for servers

Unlock **Custom Background** for a server for 5,000 tokens, then upload your own image from that server's Edit Listing page. It replaces the colour gradient at the top of the server's detail page.

Read the docs

## Faster profiles

The **Achievements** section on profiles is now collapsed until you expand it, and badge lists longer than 10 collapse behind a "+N more" button. Heavily decorated profiles now load quickly.

## A redesigned admin panel

The Admin Panel now matches the Review Dashboard and Partner Manager. It has a dated header, grouped sidebar navigation with pending-count badges, and a Staff Tools section linking to Review, Reports, Partner Manager, Violations, and the Audit Log. Overview has a Needs Attention strip that reads "All clear" when nothing is waiting, and every tab is deep-linkable with `?tab=`.

Admins can now search users by Fluxer ID, add or remove FL Tokens from any user's card with an optional reason, and open a user's profile in one click. Token adjustments appear as normal transactions in the user's history.

## Listing blacklist

Admins can now flag a user so they can no longer add servers, bots, themes, or instances. It's a lighter alternative to a ban. Browsing, voting, commenting, and managing listings they already own all keep working. Blacklisted users see a clear notice on the Add page, and the API rejects any submission from them.

## Partner Managers can grant API access

Partner Managers can now grant or revoke API access for a partner's account from that partner's page. The partner can then generate and manage their own key from their dashboard's Developer tab.

Read the docs

## Fixes and polish

* Instances now appear in the footer's Platform links.
* Rejecting an instance with no reason typed no longer leaves it stuck in Pending. A reason is required before **Confirm Reject** works.
* Fixed some bots being shown as requesting Administrator permission when they weren't. Very large permission values from newer Fluxer permission bits were rounded in a way that could flip the flag on.
* You can delete a pending instance from your dashboard's Instances tab. Approved instances stay locked so a live listing can't vanish from Browse unnoticed.
* Removed the "Fresh Listing" weekly quest. It encouraged low-effort listings created to farm rewards.
* Bumping a server from the website now earns 10 FL Tokens instead of 1.
* Removed the 1,000-token wager cap on Spin the Wheel, Plinko, and Blackjack. Your balance is now the only limit. The High Roller achievement now requires a single bet of 25,000 tokens or more, up from 500.
* Partner Managers are hidden from the FLTokens Overview leaderboard and rank calculations, like admins.
* Removed the scrolling red admin banner, and the navbar no longer floats partway down admin pages.

## Age verification for visitors from Brazil

Visitors browsing from Brazil must now complete an age-verification step before they can view NSFW-tagged server listings, to comply with Brazil's Digital Statute for Children and Adolescents (Lei nº 15.211/2025). Verification is handled by our partner Didit, which returns only a pass or fail. FluxerList never receives or stores the photo, document, or biometric data used to complete it.

The Privacy Policy has a new Age Verification for Brazilian Users section, and the sections on legal basis, third-party services, international transfers, data retention, and your rights were updated to match. It includes how to lodge a complaint with Brazil's ANPD.

Read the docs

## Comments and Audit Log in your dashboard

A new **Activity** section in the dashboard has two pages. **Comments** shows every comment you've posted across server pages in one place, and lets you delete them from there. **Audit Log** shows moderation actions taken on your servers, bots, and themes, such as approvals, rejections, and warnings, with pagination for accounts with a lot of history.

## Bump streak fix

Bump streaks no longer reset when you've bumped every day. The streak is now based on bumping at least once per calendar day, instead of a rolling cooldown window that could snap back to 1 if two bumps landed slightly further apart than usual.

## September 1, 2026

**Beta 0.3.9** · Build 23

## Three content ratings

The single NSFW checkbox on server listings is replaced by three tags you can mix and match. **Mature Content** and **Adult Content** show normally with a small badge, while **NSFW** keeps its blur, login requirement, and opt-in behaviour. Owners can update their tags after submission from the edit page, and reviewers can add or remove any combination from the review queue and admin panel.

There's a new "Mis-tagged content rating" report reason, and the Content Ratings section of the Server Listing Guidelines was rewritten to cover all three tiers.

Read the docs

## Gift tokens from a profile

Public profiles now have a **Gift** button, so you can send FL Tokens straight from someone's profile instead of only through the dashboard. You can opt out of receiving gifts in **Settings** > **Privacy**. A new evolving **Gifter** badge upgrades through Generous Gifter and Legendary Gifter as you send more, and the gift dialog shows the tiers and how many gifts you need for the next one.

Read the docs

## Flame badge on detail pages

The Bump Streak flame now also shows on a server's own detail page, both as a header badge and in the Server Stats panel, not just on its card.

Read the docs

## Privacy Policy update

The Privacy Policy now discloses Datadog, which we use for infrastructure monitoring and, where enabled, front-end performance and error monitoring.

## Fixes

* The Add Server form no longer keeps a previous server's icon when you switch to one without an icon.
* Weekly Quests on the dashboard no longer show stale progress after you play a game, check in, or vote elsewhere in the dashboard.
* The hover tooltip on the Your Token Activity chart no longer drifts from your cursor depending on chart width.

## Violations

A new staff tool for logging and reviewing violations and strikes against servers, bots, and themes. Each violation carries a severity that adds points to a running strike total, and a dashboard shows active strikes and suspended or banned listings at a glance. Reviewers can flag a violation on the spot without leaving the review queue.

Read the docs

## AI content flag

Servers, bots, and themes can now be flagged as **may contain AI content**, either self-reported at submission or added by a reviewer. It shows as a small badge with a tooltip, and you can hide flagged listings from Browse Servers, Bots, and Themes.

Read the docs

## More control for reviewers

Reviewers can now see both a server's Guild ID and its owner's Fluxer user ID on the review page, and can delist any server, bot, or theme with more control over how the owner is notified. The Recent Activity feed gained filters for All, Servers, Bots, Themes, Partner Cases, and Violations, and Partner Manager and Violations activity now shows up with proper labels.

## Clearer weekly quests

Weekly Quest descriptions now spell out exactly what counts. Community Voice covers votes on servers, bots, or themes, and Treat Yourself covers any shop purchase, not just some of them.

Read the docs

## Dashboard profile card

The Overview profile card now matches your public profile. Badges split into a Staff row and a Badges row instead of crowding the name line, and the preview link sits on the name row.

## Legal and security updates

* The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service now include our ICO registration number, company number, and registered office address, and state exactly what account and listing data we store, including for bot submissions. The footer's legal section was tidied to match.
* Patched a server-side request forgery vulnerability in Next.js's WebSocket handling and an FTP command-injection vulnerability in a dependency used by internal tooling.

## Fixes and polish

* A vanity invite short link no longer stays live after its server is placed on a terms-of-service hold, banned, or unapproved.
* The Settings page loads much faster. It was making 10 separate database round-trips for the same profile row on every visit.
* Fixed the Review Dashboard's queue tiles wrapping into an uneven last row.
* Fixed a console warning caused by how theme and analytics scripts loaded.

## August 27, 2026

**Beta 0.3.6** · Build 20

## Partner Manager

A new staff role for reviewing and managing potential and existing partners. Partner Managers get their own dashboard where they can open a case on any server or bot, leave notes, and track each case through to a decision. Some notes are staff-only and some are visible to the owner.

Server and bot owners now see a **Partner Status** panel on their listing, with their case status and any notes staff have shared, whenever a case is open. Admins can grant or revoke Partner Manager access from the admin panel, and the navbar shows an Admin or Partner Manager badge next to your name.

## Shop categories

The shop now has **Boosts**, **Cosmetics**, and **Badges** filters instead of one long scrolling list.

Read the docs

## Fixes and polish

* Fixed the Bump Streak flame badge showing a stale streak indefinitely after a server missed its bump window. It now resets.
* Tightened the Content Security Policy to further reduce the risk of malicious scripts running on the site.

## August 24, 2026

**Beta 0.3.5** · Build 19

## Updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

The Privacy Policy now names Elele Group LTD as the data controller and sets out the legal bases FluxerList relies on under UK and EU data protection law. It adds sections on moderation-related information sharing and international data transfers. The Terms of Service reflect Elele Group LTD as the platform owner, alongside other clarifications. Both are linked from the footer.

**Beta 0.3.4** · Build 18

## Community Awards

Six silver-shine recognitions now appear on server cards, server pages, and profiles: Heavy Hitter, Educational Teacher, Privacy First, The Encourager, Tech Wizard, and Living Legend. Heavy Hitter and Living Legend are computed automatically each quarter from member growth and listing age. Admins hand-pick the rest from a new Awards tab in the admin panel.

Read the docs

## Ratings on every card

Server, bot, and theme cards now show their average rating and rating count, so you don't have to open a page to see how something is rated. Each rating carries a note that ratings are community-submitted and can be skewed by review bombing. Bots and themes can now be rated from their own pages, matching servers.

Read the docs

## Server Listing Guidelines

A new guidelines page covers content standards, NSFW disclosure rules, and what gets a listing removed. It's linked from Browse Servers, the submission form, and the FAQ.

Read the docs

## A Settings page

Open **Settings** from the new gear icon in the navbar. It has Profile, Privacy, Appearance, Account, and About tabs. Light and dark mode, accent colour, and FluxerTheme import moved into **Settings** > **Appearance**, and **About** shows the current build number and build history. Privacy Policy and Terms of Service now link directly from the footer.

## Staff and badge rows on profiles

Profile badges are split into a **Staff** row and a **Badges** row for shop and event badges, so it's easier to see who's staff at a glance. Admins can mark any badge they assign as a Staff badge, and server comments now show a commenter's top staff badge. Your handle and pronouns sit directly under your display name.

## Listing history and notices

Server, bot, and theme owners can see a full activity history for their listing from the dashboard, plus any formal notices, warnings, or strikes staff have issued. Listing Reviewers can issue warnings and view history from the review queue, not just full admins.

## Flame badge for bump streaks

Server owners can unlock a Flame Badge tied to their bump streak from the shop and toggle whether it shows on their card from the dashboard.

Read the docs

## Listing Settings on Browse Servers

One modal now holds view mode, default sort, spotlighted priority, FLAT-only, NSFW visibility, default language, and hidden categories.

## Better tools for reviewers

The Review Dashboard greets each reviewer with a personal impact summary and a Top Reviewers leaderboard for the last 30 days. Reports now open on their own review page, where a reviewer can claim the report, leave internal notes, and send the reporter a notification with a follow-up. The Reports queue gained a listing-type filter and search, and shows who resolved or dismissed each report.

## A refreshed homepage

Featured Bots, FluxerList Partners, and Featured Servers each have their own look. Partners lead with a large spotlight banner for one partner, with every other partner shown in full below. The hero stats show a "+N this week" growth badge, and Top Servers now has a Top Bots tab that auto-rotates.

## Sponsors accept more payment methods

The Sponsors page lists accepted payment methods, including cards, Apple, Google, and Amazon Pay, Klarna, bank transfers, and regional options like Pix, UPI, and Bizum.

## Fixes and polish

* Delisted and banned servers can no longer be viewed by anyone with the direct link.
* Fixed a security issue where server, bot, and theme links weren't validated server-side, which could have let a malicious link type open from **Join**, **Add Bot**, or **Download**.
* Removed Lucky Slots from the Games tab.
* Removed the Invites stat from a bot's stats panel, since Servers already covers it.
* Partner and Featured Bot lists no longer leave a lone card when the count doesn't divide into rows of three.
* Compact partner rows now include a **Vote** button.
* Fixed the footer version link not switching to the About tab when you were already on Settings.
