# Community awards

Community Awards are a small set of recognitions given to servers and members. They carry a silver shine wherever they appear: on server cards, on server pages, and on profiles.

There's no application form. Two awards are computed automatically each quarter from real listing data, and the rest are hand-picked by the team based on activity, votes, reports, and what the community says.

### Heavy Hitter

**Fastest growing server.** The server with the highest percentage growth in member count over the past quarter. Raw numbers matter, but percentage climb shows real momentum.

**Oldest active server.** The oldest active servers on the list that are still thriving.

### Educational Teacher

**Most helpful for newcomers.** A server or staff member that goes above and beyond to welcome, guide, and teach new people, through tutorials, mentorship, or endless patience in chat.

### Privacy First

**Most helpful for privacy-related issues.** The server or individual with the best guidance, tools, or culture around digital privacy, from VPNs and encryption to opsec practices.

**Best scripts, bots, or tools.** Recognises the best scripts, bots, or tools built for the community.

**Community positivity.** A staff member or regular who consistently lifts others up with positivity and encouragement.

## How they're awarded

| Heavy Hitter    | Computed automatically every quarter from member growth.     |
| Living Legend   | Computed automatically every quarter from listing age.       |
| Everything else | Picked by admins from the **Awards** tab in the admin panel. |

Awards are labelled with the period they were given for, such as Q3 2026.

## Related recognition

Awards are separate from badges. Profile badges are split into a **Staff** row and a **Badges** row for shop and event badges. See [the shop](/shop).
